If he were the sun she would be the moon. One of two pieces in this set.
"Cloaked in the very stars themselves she is forever reaching and never finding what she so desperately seeks." I never intended to scan this, but I needed to test my scanner so here it is. Digital color work on top of it all. This was drawn shortly after the end of my engagement. While we were still engaged and on vacation, I made a silly wish atop a space needle on the first star I saw. Seeing as how it definitely didn't come true this is the result. For some time now, I've felt as though I'm reaching for something that is unattainable. That's kind of what this is, here our dear swan maiden is the moon. The partner piece to this one will hopefully be finished one day. Anyway, enough of my sob stories-enjoy. P.S. I know the front hand is screwed up. |
